Switzerland’s Fintech Trade Show is coming back to Zurich
Zurich, 11th February, 2019 – The Swiss Fintech Fair is taking place on 17th of September in 2019 at Kraftwerk in the center of Zurich. Initiator and Organizer of the fair is Swiss Finance Startups, the interest group of fintech startups in Switzerland.
After last year’s successful debut, this year’s fair will be even bigger, even better and even more authentic. Christina Kehl, Managing Director Swiss Finance Startups explains: “In 2018 we were just overwhelmed by the demand, people showed great interest not only in visiting the fair but in participating and shaping it.We took this interest and feedback to refine the fintech fair, and in close coordination with our members we developed our event concept. So, today we proudly present this year’s Swiss Fintech Fair that originates directly from the heart of the Swiss fintech scene. As a non-profit organization we are first and foremost content focused instead of being profit-oriented, a fact that our network deeply appreciates.”
With Zurich Tourism the association Swiss Finance Startups has found a committed partner to put the Swiss Fintech Fair 2019 to the next level. Experienced event experts support the startup association to make the fintech fair a major success not only for startups and fintech but for Zurich as an international hub. Vanessa Reis, Relationship Manager Zurich Tourism: “Zurich and the finance industry belong inseparably together and especially fintech has become a supporting pillar of Zurich’s financial center. With the Swiss Fintech Fair we have the great opportunity to mark Zurich in the event calendars of the international fintech industry.”
Just after go-live of the Swiss Fintech Fair website, the first bookings have been received. Apart from fintech startups, also traditional players like banks, insurance companies as well as innovative finance and tech companies are invited to present themselves to an interested public during the fintech fair or on stage during the accompanying program.
